These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of rametechltd.com (the “Site”), operated by Rametech Limited (“Rametech”, “we”, “us”). By using the Site you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.
Our Privacy Policy, Cookie Notice and Trademark Disclaimer also apply to your use of the Site.
1. Information on the Site is not an offer
Product names, series, descriptions, conditions and examples on the Site are provided for general information only. They are not an offer to sell and do not confirm the availability, specifications, origin or delivery time of any product. Part numbers shown as examples, including those in the quick quote form, illustrate the types of requests we handle and do not mean that the items are in stock.
Manufacturers may change their specifications without notice. Please check technical data against the manufacturer’s current documentation before you place an order.
2. Prices and quotations
We do not publish prices on the Site. Prices, availability, lead times and terms of supply are given only in a quotation.
- A quotation is binding on Rametech only when it is issued in writing by Rametech, and only on its terms and within its validity period.
- A contract of supply is formed only when Rametech confirms your order in writing. Supplies are governed by the terms stated in the quotation or in the contract, which prevail over these Terms.
- Request numbers, automatic confirmations and replies from the Rametech AI chat assistant are not quotations, offers or acceptances.
3. Rametech AI chat assistant
Rametech AI is an automated assistant that helps you describe the products you need. It may make mistakes. It does not give prices, availability or delivery commitments, and it does not give legal, export-control or technical advice. Our staff check every request before a quotation is issued. Do not rely on the assistant’s replies as a commitment or as professional advice.
You must not use the assistant to obtain its instructions, to bypass its limits, to generate content unrelated to your request or to collect data automatically.
4. Trademarks and partner status
Manufacturer names, product names and trademarks mentioned on the Site belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify products. Rametech is a partner, authorised distributor or agent of a manufacturer only where the Site expressly states this for that manufacturer. For other brands, Rametech is an independent supplier and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by the manufacturer. See our Trademark Disclaimer.
5. Your obligations
When you use the Site or send us a request, you confirm that you are authorised to act for the company on whose behalf you send it, and you agree:
- to give accurate and complete information, including the true end use, end user and final destination of the products;
- to comply with all export-control, sanctions, customs and import laws that apply to you and to the products, including, where applicable, the Import and Export Ordinance (Cap. 60) and the United Nations Sanctions Ordinance (Cap. 537) of Hong Kong and the export-control and sanctions laws of the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom;
- not to export, re-export or transfer products in breach of those laws, and to provide end-user statements or other documents when we request them;
- not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, not to upload malicious code, not to send spam, not to attempt unauthorised access to the Site or its systems, and not to copy or extract its content by automated means;
- not to submit personal data of other people unless you are entitled to do so.
6. Our right to decline requests
Rametech may decline, suspend or cancel any request or quotation at its discretion, including where information is incomplete or inaccurate, where screening raises concerns about the end use, end user or destination, or where a supply could breach applicable law or our compliance requirements. To the extent permitted by law, we are not obliged to give reasons.
7. Site content
The text, layout and design of the Site are owned by or licensed to Rametech. You may view the Site and print or save pages for your internal business purposes. Any other copying, reproduction or distribution requires our prior written permission.
8. Availability of the Site
We may change, suspend or discontinue the Site or any part of it at any time. We do not guarantee that the Site will be available without interruption or free of errors.
9. Links to other websites
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
10. Limitation of liability
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty, express or implied, as to their accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rametech is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content, including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data. Our liability in connection with a supply is governed solely by the quotation or contract for that supply.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, including under the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71).
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or the Site.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update at the top. The version in force when you use the Site applies to that use.
13. Language and contact
These Terms are available in English and Russian. If there is any inconsistency between the versions, the English version prevails.
